Before the equipment is used and installed, in order to ensure a better fit, the cardan shaft is usually lubricated. Before lubrication, the grease nipple should be cleaned to prevent dirt from falling into the equipment. Then choose a suitable lubrication method. If the cardan shaft has not been used for a long time, it should be lubricated first to ensure the accessibility of the equipment.
The most difficult step to disassemble the cardan shaft after use is to remove the hub from the shaft. For the wheel hub, during the disassembly process, a three-legged puller or a four-legged puller can be used for disassembly. At the same time, the selected puller should match the shape and size of the wheel hub, and the connection between the right-angle hooks on each leg of the puller and the rear side of the wheel hub should be appropriate, so that there will be no slippage when using force.
Then make some marks where the parts are in common with each other for reassembly. For cardan shafts used in high-speed machines, the weight of the connecting bolts should be recorded clearly. Bolts are not easy to assemble, so remove the connecting bolts first when disassembling. For bolts that have been corroded or have a lot of oil stains, solvents (such as rust loosener) are often used to spray the joints between bolts and nuts to allow the solvent to penetrate into the threads and reduce the trouble of disassembly.
These processes are all necessary, and can well avoid problems that arise during the operation.
